Events

Staying true to our role as a community pharmacy, we have been actively organising health and well-being events to promote awareness and positive living. This is our way of giving back to the communities we have served for the past two decades.

Like you, we are concerned with the increased prevalence and incidence of chronic diseases like hypertension, diabetes, stroke, cancer and high cholesterol. While these illnesses are increasingly common, it is not inevitable. The health maxims we know certainly ring true. Prevention really is better than cure.

Some of our events are held on location at Allin Pharmacy so we can bring often inaccessible laboratory tests direct to our valued customers. At these on-site screenings, customers have the added advantage of having on-the-spot health advice and discussions of immediate action.

Most of these screenings are provided free of charge or at highly subsidised rates. Among our past events are bone density scanning, comprehensive blood testing, iridology screening and cholesterol checks. This is in addition to the blood glucose level and blood pressure tests we can do for customers as and when they need it.

Allin Pharmacy also hosts health talks and discussions in collaboration with residents associations and companies. It is a wonderful platform to hear expert views from practicing clinicians and researchers on a range of timely, relevant health topics. Our previous discussion subjects include diabetes, hormones and health, great body and beautiful skin, health and soy products as well as snoring.
